Devin Bone founded BoneLex on the belief that clients deserve high-caliber legal representation without the inefficiencies and red tape common at most law firms. Using a modern, streamlined process and transparent pricing, BoneLex provides efficient, sophisticated, results-oriented representation in complex legal matters.

Handling litigation and transactional matters, Devin provides sophisticated legal representation in matters involving securities law, business disputes and transactions, real estate, and corporate governance. On the litigation side, he has represented individuals and corporations in shareholder disputes and investigations by the SEC and state securities agencies. He also maintains an active FINRA arbitration practice, representing clients in investment disputes, employment claims, and other industry matters. On the transactional side, Devin advises clients nationwide on matters involving the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and related state-level securities laws.

In addition to his securities practice, Devin maintains a general corporate practice, advising individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations in litigation and transactional matters. He serves as outside general counsel to companies, providing guidance on commercial matters including contract disputes, employment matters, and regulatory compliance. He represents automotive suppliers in disputes involving downstream suppliers, OEMs, and competitors engaging in unfair trade practices. His practice also extends to complex and nuanced real estate disputes involving riparian rights and administrative matters as varied as professional licensing and marijuana enforcement.

Devin is regularly recognized by his peers and industry professionals for his exceptional work, having been included in Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Up and Coming Lawyer,” Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Business and Corporate Law, Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” designation, and by Lawyers of Distinction for excellence in Securities Law.

Devin takes pride in educating the next generation of attorneys and serves as an adjunct professor at his alma mater, Michigan State University College of Law, where he teaches courses on contract drafting and litigation practice. He previously served as an adjunct professor and member of the ABA Paralegal Advisory Board at Oakland University.

When he is not in the office, Devin enjoys spending time with his family, especially at Higgins Lake. He is an avid hockey and football fan and can often be found on campus at Michigan State University cheering on the Spartan Marching Band, of which he was a member during his undergraduate years.
